It doesn't matter what you paint it.It's in good hands now.I was lucky enough to be called for the OCS around 92. Conway to Crestline for an Ohio State Fair trip. Only 6 people on the train and no roadforeman to over see it.I was qualified passenger Pitt to Crestline.Following trains West to Alliance was a slow pace. Till we cleared the interlocking at Alliance.I looked over at my conductor and said LETS DUST THEM OFF.For a railfan and engineer it still cranks my ass to think of it. Gliding along at 70 mph people stopping to look at a train like that.It was 4020 and 4021. I sure wish it could have been 4022. engrchip@aol.com |
