I came arross some really cool photos of the former Conrail E-8's on the PRRT&HS web site, I tried to photograph them Sunday at the Camden yard but they were stored inside the shop building, one of the workers sugested I look up this site and it took me right into the building almost in realtime! I can't believe I spent over an hour trying to find the place and I didn't need to leave my house. http://www.prrths.com/Phila_PRR5711_02_16_01.htm ![]() MediumClear@aol.com |

We intend to post photographs on the PRRths site as the work progresses. We will not start in earnest until the end of March as the facility in Philadelphia is not heated. I will ask Steve Agostini to post a pix/week on this site to encourage and remind all that the full show is available on the PRRTHS site. All of us who are involved in the effort hope everyone gets to see and enjoy the project. It is our intention to have a public openhouse when the 5911 is completed with all the proceeds from a small admission charge going to Ronald McDonald House. v-scarpitti@worldnet.att.net |

Keep up the good work, Bennett; your E8 is a masterpiece. Your work is of the highest quality. You have restored some glory to the late, great Pennsylvania Railroad! |
