Steamtown will hold its annual Armed Forces Week celebration over a ten day period from May 18 to May 28. Amongst other events will be the return to steam (hopefully) of former CN 2-8-2 3254, dormant since overhaul began in 1998. Also, former DL&W diesel (1935, EMC) #426 will be unveiled, in Lackawanna livery, during this event. It is expected that they will both be used in planned a night photo session on May 19th. This is not to be considered an official word from steamtown, just a heads up from a member of the planning committee, and of course, all equipment appearances are subject to change!
