Our roster of evening event speakers is complete, and we are very excited about the diversity of speakers and topics for the three evenings. Speakers include William Greenwood, past CEO of Burlington Northern, David Goodheart of Goodheart Video, and Scott Lindsay of Steam Operations Corporation. Also speaking each evening will be Mr. Jeff Schmid, Manager of Grade Crossing Safety, BNSF, and an engineer for the Frisco 1522. We don't have the dates each guest will speak nailed down yet, or their exact topics. Scott has been involved in steam locomotive repairs and operations for over 20 years, and will be speaking about his involvement with engines such as 1522, 2101, 614, 261, 4501, his years with the NS Steam Program and 611 and 1218. He has mentioned talking about his involvement in the wreck rebuild of the Nevada Northern 93 after its head-on collision and the drive wheel rebuild of the side-swiped Soo Line 2719. Scott cast a new wheel center and did other major work with that project. He is also involved in the wheel work of the soon to debute 6325.
