The short answer is: as much as possible.

The long answer is:

We're able to lay another 2 miles to the north before we run into land ownership obstacles. There's several parcel we'd need to get an easement for, and then it's another half mile or so before we reach the highway.

Once we cross the highway to the north or the local road to the south of the railroad, we come under FRA jurisdiction.

Ultimately, we envision at least 4 miles to the north to the Head Tide Station, and possibly 5 miles to the south to Wiscasset. However the ROW reverted back to the owners many years ago, so entering Wiscasset is by no means a certain thing. North is a little easier because the Museum's founder owns 60% of the ROW, in bits and pieces here and there.
