While reading through THE LAST STEAM RAILROAD IN AMERICA (recently lent to me), I came across a note by author Thomas H. Garver in his chapter on O. Winston Link: A Note on His Life" as follows: "..he can turn the description of repairs on his Model A Ford or antique railroad car into fascinating stories." Now I had long known that Mr. Link once owned a Canadian Pacific 4-6-0 (#453) BUT I had never heard he owned any "antique railroad car." Does anyone know what this car was AND whatever happened to it? Thanks! midlandblb@cs.com |

According to the May 2001 "Railfan" magazine, it's a wooden combine from the Rutland. Lots of detail about it - pick up a copy. JAC |
