Post subject:  TVRM Question

I'm going to be working in the area through the
weekend of April 15th & 16th, and want to visit
the TVRM. Any info on what will be running(hopefully steaming)would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, SH

As of now, it will most likely be sometime in May before any steam is operating here. Our shop forces are working on ex-U.S.A. 610 and ran into an unexpected problem. We had hoped to have her back in steam by the start of May but that looks highly unlikely now.

Alan,

A minor setback occurred that put us only about 5 days behind where we were about ten days ago and we should have the 610 ready for a steam test in about two weeks, followed by lagging, jacketing and painting in time for the first weekend of May.

Thanks very much for the info, we're still going
to stop by and take a ride. Sorry to hear about the minor setback, hope all goes well.
