I'm pondering the fate of the old Wisconsin Central Historical Fond-Du-Lac Roundhouse and turntable once the C.N. takes control.
We all know their feelings on dealing with past history of railroading. But, think of the potential of the structures that remain and the property they are on. Wouldn't it be great to see the structures and property used for future interest in history of railroading. They're here today but for how long? Will they become a distant memory too?

Reportedly, CN has no plans to close any shops. There's been an announcement that CN doesn't want to change much after the merger goes through, I can't remember where I read this.

Things do change so I would recommend that if anybody has an interest in these structures, to start an effort now. Because we all know how swiftly change can come.
