I never personally saw the collection and have only limited knowledge of the group or people involved.

But, a few of the items were acquired for Orange Empire Railway Museum through the efforts of one of our members. It appears that he had known one of the people involved with the "California Narrow Gauge Museum" for years.

OERM got at separate times the West Side Lumber company caboose #7, and three former Rio Grande freight cars. The Rio Grande cars are in our support collection as opposed to our permanent collection.
