Could some of you fill me in on the history of the BEDT 0-6-0 that is now packing them in as Thomas the Tank Engine? I think it was in Burnsville, North Carolina several years ago on the "Southern Appalachian Railway" but I don't know how it got there or where it went between then and the blue cocoon.

I came thru Chattanooga yesterday and saw it at the TVRM depot. The crowd was huge on Friday at 3pm!

I'm pretty sure its #15 which ended up at the Toledo,Lake Erie and Western RR in Grand Rapids, OH. It was on display only and by my dad's memory was just sitting in the weeds rusting away. My dad was a fireman/engineer out there in the late 70's when they were running ex-Detroit Edison 0-6-0. Speaking of which, does anyone know what kind of condition that engine is in now. I had heard it was in bad shape when my dad last ran it and that was just over 20 years ago.

Your history of ex-BEDT #15 is correct it was at the TLE&W but never ran there.
The last time I saw there Detroit Edison 0-6-0 #202 was about two years ago, the engine was sitting on a weed grown siding, rusted and neglected with many patrs missing.
