My curiosity was recently piqued when I saw a newsletter from the Ohio Railway Museum in Worthington, Ohio. While this organization has acquired a reputation for - how shall I say this - undergoing a rather startling decline over the past decades, this newsletter seemed to indicate that a lot of work is being done there. In particular, there was some news on improvements to the main line. Does anyone know whether there really is a core group of people who have started to work at ORM again, and who might be able to return to it some of its former glory?

Certainly not a good sign that their web site has not been updated in over a year!

The website has not been updated in 2 years. If they are trying to look like a real second rate outfit they have done so. The stupid horn sound they have screws up the loading of the webpage on my browser even with a cable modem. I did not look very far as everytime I went back to home it screwed up my browser.

Amen, Tom, this site is an absolute mess. When you scroll up or down on it the script does a running, bleeding effect that is really unnerving. Worse yet, when you go to the next website you want to use, or link over, the same effect transfers to that website also. I usually have to close out completely and log back on to get away from the contaminatination.Don't know why they haven't fixed the problem, they can't be that unaware.Anyone not wanting to deal with the hassle of signing on and off their server to get rid of a contaminating problem would do well just to stay off their Ohio Railway Museum's site.

While their imfamous history is well-documented, I am not sure of the constructive nature of bashing their organization or their website here. I wish them all the luck and I would rather have them work on their mainline and preserving artifacts than using those same resources for a snappy internet presence.
