An old timer at Strasburg told me years ago that #4 was fine for the "shuttle train", but didn't have enough steam for the day to day runs down to the connection.What did he mean by the "shuttle train"?-Alan Levy

I think what he was trying too tell you is this,,,maybe she does not have the water cap,,,in the tender,,,too make the entire run to Leaman Place,,,don't forget she was only used for yard service work....In yard service she was alway's close too water,,,when needed,,,I hope that this maybe does answer your question....Pat
