I am looking for flag brackets or holders that will fit in the brackets for Marker lights that are mounted on Passenger cars/caboose. Any help locating some would be appreciatedThanksGeoff

The SPCRR has a pattern for a marker lamp bracket. It is a two part casting meant to be mortised into the corner casting of a wooden passenger car. Its based on a part used by the Carter Brothers on the narrow gauge cars they built, but very similar parts were used by SP as well. This is one of about 300 patters in the SPCRR collection.

I just picked up a pair of "flat mount" brackets from a locomotive scrap operation. They came with a 6" x 6" piece of CSX cabside still bolted to each. You might check with some place like Larry's Electric in Youngstown and see if they could provide them.G.F.PayneBaltimore MD
