This past February Britain's Bluebell Railway ran a truly spectaular special event--two days of Victorian steam, with six steam locomotives, each over 100 year sold, operating simultaneously. I had the pleasure to attend and I had a fine time indeed. I've created a slide show of some images for those who enjoy either European steam or truly high-quality operating preservation work.

What an outstanding event! What an outstanding railway! Definitely among the best I have ever seen.

The Bluebell exhibits a state of focus, vision, and maturity that is enviable. They set a benchmark that should encourage emulation everywhere.

Thank you for sharing.

Glenn
