Minneapolis trolley line shut down for repairs, from Jim Vaitkunas:Friends and Neighbors of the Como-Harriet Streetcar Line: Effective this morning (May 31st) the Como-Harriet Streetcar Line in Linden Hills is shut down for the TEA-21 track reconstruction work. We expect that the work will take two months to complete. Projected reopening date for streetcar operations at Lake Harriet is August 1st. If you would like to keep up with the latest news and photos on the project, please check our website: www.trolleyride.org The site will have periodic updates on the project, to include photos.
