The discussion below about dry cells reminds me I need to work on some Edison cells in a trolley car we are working on. Where can I find information about maintenance of Edison cells? I found a web site with technical information on how Edison cells work, but I need more basic information on recommended ways to clean the terminals, make sure the plates and electrolyte are in good condition, how to charge and test them, etc. Trolley Museum of New York n2xjk@ulster.net |
