Has anyone had new staybolt taps made recently? By which manufacturer? Approximate cost?Reason: Golden Gate Railroad Museum has a limited number of taps, but sooner or later they will wear out - especially the long ones suitable for rigid stays in 6" water legs. I don't know the current pricing but Yuill's staybolt taps are of very good quality. And they are "universal" in that the same tap is used for sidesheets and crownsheet...this made possible by interchangable lead and driving shanks.http://www.historicmachineryservices.com/
