The article does not mention the proposed Puhi Cane Train (Lihu'e, HI) due to begin tourist service in 2007. Is construction underway?Sloan |

The locomotives are on the mainland awaiting restoration (see "Hawaiian-Phillipine locomotive thread), but I haven't heard of actual construction on the property itself yet. I hear it's essentially a 2.5-mile "figure 8" on the Kilohana Plantation. |
