For you folks in the Pacific Northwest (or Southwest if you're Canadian), the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad will have three of their steam locomotives at the "History in Motion" celebration at Morton WA next weekend, June 18 and 19.The locomotives will be 2-8-2T #17, 3-truck Heisler #91 and 3-truck Climax #10.The History in Motion web page:http://mortonchamber.lewiscounty.com/historyinmotion.htmMt. (Both schedules are subject to change, you know how steam is...Now, for the really fun part. You can ride a train from Morton to Mineral and return on Sunday. Yes, Morton to Mineral, and that includes the two tall trestles. Even better, at least part of the trip is tenatively planned as a doubleheader.
