Older photo of this ancient, onetime Central of Georgia 4-4-0, last used for logging. Last I heard it was at Chapman, Alabama. How's it doing today?http://www.steaminthewoods.com/WTSmithLCo14_440_CapmanAL_75700_copy.jpgAlso, WT Smith 7, which I believe one of our Interchange members is working on now:http://www.steaminthewoods.com/WTSmithLCo7_260BLW_BuildersPhoto.jpg

I haven't been to Chapman, but Rudd and Angel report she is in terrible condition. Have to get ny there one of these days.Smith 7? Yup......a long term project with no set deadline for a private individual, which ate up last weekend making some nice tapered stuff in the state of the art 1917 leBlond lathe. She will be a sweet little engine when we get her done someday, but not to be finished until there is a place for her to run to earn her keep.dave
