Anyone know the origin and destination of a Budd SPV 2000 located in a CSX yard near SW Baltimore? I saw the car from the Marc commuter train this morning. The Budd was in a line of freight cars.Wesley |

Was it intact or was it a shell?There are several shells at Delaware Car in Wilmington which I think can be moved on their own trucks. The second possibility that comes readily to mind is the FRA's test car or one of the ConnDot / Metro-North cars being shipped somewhere. M.E. Allen |

This car was painted for MetroNorth, slightly adjusted with graffiti. It was not one of the Delaware Car Co. shells.Wesley |

Can someone please tell of the Budd SPV2000 demonstrator car (with one streamlined end) that probably left Red Lion Plant about the same time as the shells? |

I believe that the demo was crushed by a bulldozer when the Red Lion plantwas demolished-which was no mean feat !!! |
