Just Want to mention to Whoever stole the safety valves off of Baldwin #5, I hope you are happy with your new treasure as you have disabled a fully functional locomotive. This engine was just used for a flim shoot and is usually run for the fall steam festival in september each year. As most of you you know it is not easy to keep these engines running and the unecessary expense of buying two new safeties (about $700.00) is certainly not going to help. The Clark family welcomes everyone to their park and are proud of what they have accomplished but these kind of events certainly do not help us to keep steam operating. This message is not to emply that anyone that reads Rypn would do this, but just to put the word out of this theft. Rick. |

I have travelled to New England on many occasions, and am extremely dismayed over this theft. The Clark family have in the past, been very hospitable to restoration groups and visitors with a railroad background. To see this type of thing happen is troubling, to say the least, particularly when the perpetrator is one of our own. |
