Bob, that link takes us to another 3751 thread, discussing it's arrival at LAUPT. There has been no official announcement of 700 and 4449 doubleheading at the convention. |

Can someone Copy and PASTE the text of that Trainorders 2nd page discussion for those of us who are not members of trainorders?? Non-members and the public can ONLY view page 1 of any trainorders discussion. This discussion now covers two pages and is therefore hidden from the public. Thank you very much in advance and for this wonderful and very educational RYPN forum! -- Daniel bobyar2001 wrote: This should work:http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?10,945109

Daniel, there is no new news on the second page of replies, only banter about which engines have doubleheaded in the past. |

Is there a last second savior for this trip? Time seems to be running out. Last Tuesday morning, I received an email from the NRHS convention chair who reported that final approvals had not yet been obtained (as of last Tuesday morning). I am quite certain that the 4449 / 700 crews are probably the most frustrated because there is so little that they can do.Over the years, I told my wife that most of these excursion trips were going to be once in a lifetime events. History shows that to be correct. How about trips behind the NW 611, the NW 1218, the Frisco 1522, the PRR 1361, the CO 614, the NKP 587, the CNW 1385??? |

Actually, please do not paste content from Trainorders or other webmaster's sites into this one in violation of their terms of service; we need to respect other Web sites' terms of service just as we expect them to respect ours. |
