How many trips did 6910 make in excursion service? Did she run at all on the museum's line? Is she on display or laid up currently?-Alan Levy

6910 is actually Kentucky & Tennessee #10, renumbered to mimic an SR mike. I think it ran trips back in the 60s and 70s, both on the mainline and on TVRM's line. When I went to TVRM about five years ago, they had both 10 and 630 in the shop for evaluation to see which was the better candidate for restoration and they chose the 630. When I went there two years ago, #10 was nowhere to be seen. Perhaps someone from TVRM can shed some light on this.

"6910" was slated for a pair of trips each day from Chattanooga to Cleveland, TN (about 25 miles) on October 9 and 10, 1965. The two trips on October 9 operated. The October 10 trips were canceled due to leaking flues.JAC

I know we are talking about K&T 2-8-2 #10,but isn't the Southern E8 currently in the TVRM shop #6910 also?
