Hi Bob,To answer at least some of your questions:The 2-8-0 is one of the famous "Andes" class locomotives built by Beyer Peacock in 1935 (I think) for the Central Railway of Peru.I believe the steamship on Lake Titicaca is the "Olanta", built in the U.K. (don't recall which yard).I believe the narrow gauge 2-8-0 is a Hunslet on the Huancayo y Huancavelica line.The narrow gauge 2-6-0 is indeed a Baldwin also on the HyH.I believe the little 0-4-0 is actually 500mm gauge, but the name of the line it runs on escapes me.I don't remember what the other questions are, but I'll give someone else a chance.Hope this helps!Best Regards,Glenn |

The Hunslet 2-8-0 was built for the FC Trujilo but I've no idea exactly where that was aprt from the fact it was in Peru.G |

The Streetcars is in Barranco a Municipality of Lima. The FC de Truijilo was on the Pacific Coast many miles north of Lima. The line was abandon after 1965. The FVCA is the new operator of the Central of Peru. The FVCA stands for Ferrovias Central Andino. The 206 is the last operational steam loco on the Central. It is occasionally operatored for Charters. However the price to charter is very high and fewer charters have been operated. The 500 mm is in Lima in the Surco Friends Park. It is operated regularly in the summer months (winter up North. Also the two narrow gauge engines on the H&H are located in Huancayo. The 107 is in the H&H yards and the other Baldwin is at the joint standard/3ft gauge station. The passenger car is original car built for the Central of Peru. Cars and Locos were often switched between the Peruvian Railroads. Mainlines of the Central, Southern, Southern Peru Copper and Tacna-Arica are all standard gauge.
