Have any museums looked in to acquring any of the four Ex-Southern FP-7 diesels now on the RJ Corman and Stone Mountain Scenic railroads? Are they considered safe from future scrapping?

If by safe, seeing the two RJ Corman units roll by a window outisde where I am typing this now, yes. I'm summering with my parents in Bardstown, Kentucky, and the former L&N Bardstown Branch runs right behind their house.Corman keeps the locomotives in very, very good shape. They are stored inside during the winter, and were repainted fairly recently. They've also been converted to 26 L brakes and maybe Dash 2 control stands, but I can't confirm that. They also sound nice as he notches them out to about notch 4 behind the house. I think they are safe for the time being.
