Just by chance, I noticed that the registration packet for the 2005 ARM Convention is on the ARM website. The cutoff for the early bird registration rate of $240 is July 15th. Has anyone received this packet through the mail? I'm glad I found this before the deadline, but it would have been nice to have a little advance notice to pull the extra $cratch together.I am looking forward to going to Strasburg since my family used to be mennonite. I'm going to stop at the ancestral family home on my way up. I am excited to visit the Rockhill Trolley Museum and this wondrous place you non-electric railroaders talk about - East Broad Top?

Myself and some others were curious about registration for ARM this year so we checked the internet last Saturday. We able to download the package from the RRMPA's website and make copies of the registration forms. Needless to say, the check is in the mail! I am happy to say that at least 4 members of TVRM will be attending this year's ARM convention. With ARM at the RRMPA and TRAIN being at TVRM, I think (more shameless self-promotion here) it should be a great convention year!BTW, the TRAIN registration package is ready and will be in the mail soon as well downloadable from our website.

The program and registration information for the 2005 ARM conference at the RR Museum of Pennsylvania is available two places on the web:The Association of Railway Museums website has the information by selecting annual conferenece on the left hand menu bar. Then near the top of the confernece page there is a link to the pdf file. The website for the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania has a page about the conference with a link to the pdf registration file. And then next year (2006) in Sacramento for another joint conference with TRAIN.
