The Feather River Rail Society is sending several pieces of equipment to participate in Dunsmuir (CA) Railroad Days, being held this weekend.FRRS equipment to be displayed:Southern Pacific GP9 2873FRRX baggage carSouthern Pacific heavyweight Observation and Diner cars (the Daylight wreck train cars currently being stored at the museum)SP bay window caboose 4107UP cupola caboose 25283Western Pacific bay window caboose 484Western Pacific GP20 2001 will be joining the equipment in DunsmuirThe FRRS train will be travelling down to Roseville for the night and picking up the Union Pacific "Green Goat" for display in Dunsmuir.Train is scheduled to leave Portola Yard shortly and arrive in Dunsmuir late Thursday.Eugene VicknairSecretary, FRRSwww.WPLives.org |
