Boston & Maine's main shop in Massachusetts, where these F units awaited the torch in 1980. Both A units and one of the Bs would survive, however, so not as sad as it looked then:http://naphotos.nerail.org/showpic/?photo=200507062142067680.jpg&bydate%3A19Recent view of 4268 at N. Conway, NH. Still a gutted carbody, but kept painted:http://naphotos.nerail.org/showpic/?photo=200507041135146842.jpg&bydate%3A82

At least 4266 still has her innards.I think it would be neat to to buy a CF7 and rejoin either 4268 or 4265 with a prime mover and main generator.Too bad I don't have the quarter of a million dollars or more it would require.Regards,Trevor H.
