No. 5 appears to have retained its WWII surplus GMC prime mover, from a 6x6 5-ton Army truck.http://naphotos.nerail.org/showpic/?pho ... %3A107Also impressive is this replica of RGS Goose No. 1, built by the group at Ridgway, Colorado, constructed from a derelict antique Buick chassis and carbody:http://naphotos.nerail.org/showpic/?photo=2005063010083421702.jpg&bydate%3A116The only Goose that hasn't been returned to service yet is No. 4, still displayed in downtown Telluride, Colorado:http://naphotos.nerail.org/showpic/?photo=2005063008193310725.jpg&bydate%3A117Old photo of Goose 4, before it was rebuilt with a Wayne bus body in the 1940s:http://www.insulators.com/pictures/?id=45028440
