Post subject:  ATSF passenger car livery question

Was there ever a Santa Fe passenger car paint scheme with the use of one or more blue tones, akin perhaps to what appeared on ATSF streamlined Hudsons ["Blue Goose"]?Black & white photos of certain ATSF cars, the 1936 experimental lightweight coach from St Louis Car and the 1947 experimental "Pendulum coach" in particular, show a scheme which implies blue paint [to me]. It's a dark color on the lower half of the smooth sided car[s], a much lighter shade for the upper half, and a painted [white? yellow?] letterboard. Was it blue, or two-tone gray, and are there color photos showing this style of livery?

I remember once seeing an 8mm movie made years ago on a San Diegan trip by a Los Angeles area railfan. The movie was either late 30s or early 40s. The pendulum car was in the consist. As I recall the pendulum car did have blue -- a light blue -- in its paint scheme.
