I had wanted to check in on this event on Saturday, but "real life" interfered. Hoping to get the chance again in two weeks, this unit will be on display in Madison, Wisc. (Details on the Wisconsin Southern RR website)What's with the tank car ? Is this in use as an auxilliary water tank ?Anyone know ? |

FoxValley, Yes, the tank car carries additional water for the locomotive but the covered hoppers carried real, live, honest-to-goodness freight.Don C. |
