Sad news from my father in law Warren Willis in Lynchburg:"As has become my habit, I went over to Riverside Park this morning hoping to see someone working on the train so I could get an update on the project. I had not seen anyone there for two months and no progress made since early April when the caboose frame was painted. However this morning I found that someone had gained access to the enclosure and smeared paint all over one side of the tender. From the color I would judge that it was primer that had been left on the job site. The scaffolding had been pulled back from the cab and a blue tarp hung to obscure what I assume were obscenities. I have enclosed a picture to show you the extent of the damage."
