At the NRHS convention last week, over $30,000 worth of railway preservations grants were awarded to a number of organizations, most of which are not NRHS chapters.For details see:http://nrhs.com/grant/2005win.htmThe NRHS grant committee had its' work cut out for them this year because the total amount of money requested for grants exceeded the amount available by a factor of more than 5 to 1.Bob H |
