Folks,The members of the Railroad Museum of Long Island have posted the story of preserving and mooving a turntable from Arcade, New York to their Riverhead site. Part 1 from Winter 2003 is on their web site. But Part 2 from Spring 2004 has not shown up.I grew up on Long Island and I im interested in the preservation of the Long Island Railroad. But a museum salery does not stretch to memberships in all the deserving non-profits that are out there! Please can someone send me a photo copy of Part 2 of that story. Please send me an e-mail for my address. And for the museum officers posting the whole story here as an article or brief would be a good thing too. It is not every day that such a large artifact travels clear across 400 miles of New York state. Ted

Hi Ted,Part two of the turntable move to Riverhead from Arcade is available. I'll try to attach it to a PM through the Forum. If that doesn't work, send me an e-mail at n2qhv@arrl.net and I'll reply with Part II attached to it.Thanks for your interest. Don Fishern2qhvRMLI
