Post subject:  Any smoke over St. Thomas yet?

Okay, the last we heard was that the target date for departure of 2100 from St. Thomas, Ont. westbound towards Tacoma, Wash. was Tuesday, July 12th.Yesterday.[crickets chirping on the various rail rumor websites............]Time to give up on this dream yet?

Not sure about any smoke any time soon. In fact, I just saw a website with the 4-8-4 still being offered for sale,and can be inspected in Canada. Now,if you were moving the locomotive to another location and taking it off the market,wouldn't you say so? Perhaps it was an oversight.....

A gentleman who is located in Windsor Ontario posted on Trainorders this morning that 2100 was still in St. Thomas.Regards,Burlington John
