It's been several years since I've heard anything about Frisco 2-8-2 No. 1352, which was moved from Kansas City to Taylorville, IL for restoration. Anything going on, or is it still torn down there?

My understanding (and this is some 3-4 years old) is that the effort basically ran out of money. I'm not sure where the locomotive stands in terms of disassembled/put back together at this point.Maybe someone else has additional/more definitive information.

We were in Talylorville about 2 months ago. The engine is still inside the shed it's been in for several years. The tender is outside along with parts off the engine (sand domes and other parts laying in the weeds). There has never been any sign of anyone around when I've been there, although this time a walk-in door was open.
