Also used with spring loaded lubricator pads on diesel-electric locomotive traction motors. Can be used with cotton waste, wool waste and fabricated journal lubricator pads. Also used in waste lubricated motor bearing of air compressors, blower motors and dynamotors. Also used with oil lubricated center bearings. Can be used as a general light lubricant oil. "Most conform to AAR Specification M-963-84 CHEVRON CPS No. 233803 Journal Bearing Oil TEXCAO product Code 674 JORNALTEX HD-57 UNOCAL product Code 04907 AAR-963 Oil VALVOLINE M-963-84 All Year Car Oil "(NOTE: UNOCAL product only made in large lots by special order.)" I can recommend Interlube "Journal Guard AYG". It is designed to maintain a protective coating on journals that remain static for long periods. We have never had any trouble with rusty, or hot journals, since we have been using it. |
