Photo from 1952 of Bob Richardson at his Narrow Gauge Motel & Museum at South Alamosa, Colorado, with his first acquisition, former D&RGW 346. Without his efforts and the interest he created, most of the narrow gauge in Colorado would probably be just a memory. Interestingly, Bob Richardson and his 346 are still with us, and the engine will run again. Doubtful if the Flxible bus and its driver can make the same claim.http://photoswest.org/cgi-bin/imager?00401940+RR-1940
