What's the story about the Alaska car in the photos?

There is a railcar rebuilder in Ft. Lupton, that does passenger cars. It used to be called Rader Railcar, but not sure of the present name. They have done a lot of work on the private trains that operate on the Alaska RR, and were also involved in the ill-fated Marlboro Express. Someone who lives in Colorado can no doubt provide more information.
