I'm not one to regularly post on a whim, but I was sorting my recent photos from the East Broad Top RR and rather liked this one from June 26, 2005.What's remarkable is the amount of work that went into it. Not the photography, but setting the scene. The switch stand target, repainted by a couple of volunteers. The ties, selectively replaced by the EBT's employees. The tool room addition, jacked back upright and secured by a small group of volunteers. The shop wall and windows, repaired and painted by the FEBT. And locomotive 14, back in service after unexpected contract work on the driver and plenty of regular inspection and maintenance work by the EBT.
