Formerly the main facility for the D&RGW in Denver, still performs running repairs for the UP. Roundhouse was torn down about 1964. Largest power here was 2-8-8-2s and 4-6-6-4s. Steam ended in 1956.http://www.railimages.com/gallery/album184 |
