I read a while back that the Electric City Trolley Museum dug a car body out of the inside of a modern building toi get to a Scranton passenger car. And now I read that the Rockhill Trolley Museum has a snow sweeper from the same city.So can anyone suggest a book or an article about the Scranton system? Thanks,Ted Miles

Ted,There is also a Scranton Electromobile still a round. There is a small spiral bound book ont he Scranton trolleys, plus an excellent book on the connecting Northern Electric. I think you can get both from the Electric City Trolley museum. One of the Morning Sun $60 slide show books also includes color coverage of Scranton streetcars.Rob

Morning Sun Books Inc. has a great book called Trackside around Scranton, PA. 1952-1976 with Edward S. Miller. By Chuck Yungkurth. There are four pages of Scranton Trolleys and much text info to go with it. Outstanding photo's by Ed Miller who is a member of the Lackawanna & Wyoming Valley NHRS. As I am. I can vouch for Ed's excellent pix!Ed K. cp. Laurel Run
