Just out of curiosity, what all is left at the old Steamtown site in Vermont??is there anyequipment left, or track, or anything?? |

I haven't been there in a long time, but last I knew it was being used as a lumber reload facility, with one of the old Steamtown metal buildings still there. I don't think any equipment remains. What wasn't moved elsewhere was scrapped. The water tank was destroyed as was a grounded wooden coach used as the office. Don't know about the "station" which also housed a bookstore and had an open shelter for the chicken barbeque. |

There isn't much left,,,the old platform is still there,, along with the passing siding,,,,which was by the station,,,that is gone,,,,the only thing that still remain's is the builting that had the bathroom's,,,along with the one builting that was in the last post...hope this is of help,,Pat |
