In the past I've spoke to a few people on here about this locomotive. I let the subject die due to fact it appeared the locomotive was going to be scraped. Well the good news is it arrived at our shop today. Scraping is no longer in it's future. I'm looking at what it's going to take to get it into operating and interchangeable condition. I'm also willing to discuse any other options except scrap. It was a nice engine to run when in service a few years ago. If I restore it to operation it will probally end up on The Lorain & West Virginia or in a short line operation. I have pictures of it today (8-3) but no way to post them here. The LV paint is showing through the ugly mill green. |
