Hi All,I know some of you have looked at Terra Server and sites like that, so I thought I would show yall a program that was shown to me recently. http://earth.google.com/This program is pretty cool in that you can zoom in almost to the point of seeing people. Most o the satellite pictures are fairly recent. I used it to follow a local railroad track. Some of the more rural areas don't have as focused pictures as the bigger towns and cities do. I know this doesn't relate to rail preservation much, but you can use it to look for abandoned roadbeds and other stuff. Just download the free version and see if you like it.Stuartps.
