I had a chat with Midwest Locomotive and Machine Works in site in Skagway yesterday - they are working away at plumbing and appliance installation now. 69 got stuck in Juneau for an unanticipated week of "vacation" when the barge missed a tide. They are pleased with the progress since, and hopefully we will see steam up in the next few days. More hopefully, maybe an article or two about the project, with lots of photos.Wish I was there to help them out now - the southeast is like a steambath. dave
