Auction of the remaining assets of the onetime High Country RR at Heritage Square, Golden, Colorado. This was a two-foot gauge RR at a tourist site originally called Magic Mountain. This site first operated a three-foot RR, with former Rio Grande Southern 2-8-0 42, then was rebuilt for two-foot gauge. That operation is said to have since been replaced with a 15-inch gauge train.http://www.pacificauction.com/auction_d ... n_id=67409

I ran an article on all three (3', 2', and present 15") operations for "On Track'" in the Spring. The "Rio Golden" began with the leased Uhrich 5-1/2" scale rendition of the D&RGW #463, and later a leased battery-powered locomotive. It now runs with a small "critter" constructed by one of the owners.Direct link:http://www.bjwrr.com/ontrack/golden.htm
