On another list it was posted that the Inland Empire Chapter NRHS out of Spokane, WA was moving to a new location. Anyone have any info where this is?Richard Wilkens

The Inland Empire Railway Historical Society will be moving their collection to Reardan Washington (the the Palouse and Coulee City I believe). The bulk of their collection is still in Spokane but will be moved soon. They are still building trackwork, with the major challenge being to cut a switch into the common carrier track. When trackwork progresses far enough, I believe they will move their collection en masse in a hospital train. They have built a couple of section houses for tool storage and but are always looking for help. They have parties on Sunday mornings, but I would consult with their website/contacts for further and more precise info.Michael SeitzMissoula MT

The Inland Empire Railway Historical Society has been using space at the county fairgrounds in Spokane. It does not surprise me that it would evenually relocate. I only hope that they, like so many groups, have been able to actually acquire its own site instead of being a tennant.
