Post subject:  K C Casino Equipment

My son just returned from a business trip to Kansas City and reported that he 'discovered' some rail equipment at a new casino northeast of KC on the Missouri side. I believe he said it was the Ameristar Casino.Anyway it seems there is a steam locomotive outdoors at the entrance and inside a Pullman car in pristine shiny glowing and apparently complete condition, sitting on its own section of track. There may be another passenger car inside the complex, maybe not. No one was inside the car, walking through, or seemingly any use for the car except as a display. To me, an odd place for an historical exhibit in a casino setting. Apologies if this has been discussed here before but if so I missed it.We have heard a lot about KC Union Station but I would be interested if anyone has info on this equipment as to heritage, previous owners, or the story about how it came to be where it is.Bob Kutella
